The Southern Colorado Sex Offender Task Force (SCSOTF) is a multi-agency team working together to promote the reduction of sex offenses through compliance with sex offender management guidelines as set forth by the Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) and the Colorado Revised Statutes (C.R.S.). The SCSOTF strives to improve public safety by educating the community regarding offenders of sexually based crimes, assist local law enforcement agencies with the management of Registered Sex Offenders and Sexually Violent Predators, maintain communication with government agencies through case staffings and information sharing.
SCSOTF members include law enforcement officers from the Pueblo Police Department, Pueblo County Sheriff's Office, Colorado Department of Corrections Adult Parole, Colorado Division of Youth Corrections Juvenile Parole and the 10th Judicial District Probation Department as well as civilian staff from the 10th Judicial District Attorney's Office, Pueblo County Department of Social Services, Pueblo City Schools, Pueblo Community College, SOMB Approved Therapists, Spanish Peaks Mental Health Center, Colorado Mental Health Institute at Pueblo and the Pueblo Child Advocacy Center.

The Pueblo Police Department and the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office have joined forces with the United States Marshals Service - Colorado Adam Walsh Task Force. Together we will seek out Unregistered Sex Offenders and bring them to justice.
